I am a transformational business leader and media executive with deep content expertise who leverages innovation to drive growth with non-profit and for profit board experience. I honed my omni-channel storytelling skills at The Walt Disney Company, where I was president of a top ten award-winning business division, publishing over 100 New York Times Bestsellers and creating a profitable high growth digital enterprise by transforming a traditional print business. I shifted our strategy from a general acquisition approach to a model that built out key Disney/ABC Television group franchises and talent, driving audience delivery and awareness across television and the web. I also served as a Board member of the A+E Networks, providing advisory services to the company and positioning talent and programs for cross-platform development. In 2013 I worked with Disney's business strategy group to successfully position a sale of the company to Hachette. I am currently the President of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where I run a 175 milllion dollar trade publishing company and lead a team of over 200 people in New York and Boston. I was a Founding Partner of Path2, LLC and a Managing Director of Golden Seeds, providing strategic advice in financial planning, partnerships and sponsorships, marketing and content strategies for early stage businesses and start-ups. I evaluate, coach, and provide strategic business guidance, including development and delivery of investor pitch decks and introductions to key media contacts.
