I am a licensed Architect in California with over 30 years of experience in design, development, and construction management. I am results-oriented with proven abilities in team building and detailed project delivery. My diverse experience includes Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, S&T, Hospitality, GOV, and Master Planning. As a result of this broad-based background, I am very comfortable leading any team through architectural discovery providing superior solutions and business outcomes. I believe effective communication, decisiveness, delegation, and accountability are all important aspects of successful management, but it is the emotional component of creating and killing ideas that is unique to the design industry. Three key traits I try to live by in order to be an effective leader are: AUTHENTICITY: Vital to projects success, my teams view me as sincere and consistently acting with integrity. Hard work and credibility instills trust, trust inspires commitment to be successful. HUMILITY: My teams describe me as a leader who sets them up for success, never taking credit for their work. I clearly explain my strategies, what is required of each individual team member, and that it is ok to disagree with my decisions. PURPOSE: My team's success is predicated on them knowing not just WHAT or HOW they do what they do, but WHY they do it. When the purpose is identified and understood, that is when a team is most effective. Throughout my career I have demonstrated consistent success applying aptitude’s as a leader with an ambition to achieve high-reaching standards.
