Meloni Hallock is a Managing Director, Partner and co-founder of Acacia Wealth Advisors. She has 40 years of experience in providing ultra-high-net worth-individuals and families with creative and comprehensive personal financial planning services. Her specialties include asset allocation and investment planning, estate and gift planning, charitable giving, tax planning and risk management services. Prior to Acacia Wealth Advisors and HighTower, Meloni was a tax partner in Ernst & Young’s Los Angeles office, where she served as the Pacific Southwest area director of Personal Financial Counseling. Meloni earned her Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Missouri St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and holds both the Personal Financial Specialist™ (PFS™) and Certified Investment Analyst® (CIMA®) designations. Meloni has been a long-time board member of the American Red Cross of the Los Angeles Region and is a founding member of the LA chapter’s Tiffany Circle Society for women in philanthropy. She is the former Chair of the Investment Committee for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Meloni served on the board of the California Community Foundation (CCF), chairing the Board Affairs Committee. She continues as a member of the CCF Investment Committee. She is on the cabinet of Women United for the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, working on the complex homelessness challenges and a long term program for Creating Pathways Out of Poverty. Meloni is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Japanese American National Museum (JANM), promoting understanding and appreciation of cultural and ethnic diversity by sharing the Japanese American experience. JANM speaks out when diversity, individual dignity and social justice are threatened or undermined.
