Matthew Robinson is an investment professional at H.I.G. Capital.Prior to H.I.G., Matthew was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs & Co. and prior to Goldman was a management consultant at The Lucas Group. Mr. Robinson is a graduate of Columbia Business School (MBA with Honors & Distinction) and Cornell University (B.S Mechanical Engineering). While at Columbia Matthew won the Pershing Square Value Investing Challenge, which is the premier business school value investing competition.Matthew's professional background is in Finance (investing and advising), and Management Consulting.Mr. Robinson is also an accomplished amateur race car driver winning the 2016 Spec Boxster West Coast Series and placing third in the PCA National Club Racing series in a Spec Boxster.
