Headquartered in Allentown, Pa., Health Network Laboratories (HNL) is a multiregional, full-service medical laboratory facility serving the needs of more than 10,000 satisfied healthcare providers in the public and healthcare communities. HNL has been providing laboratory services for 35 years, 15 of which have been as an independent laboratory. The lab operates 24/7, 365 days a year and offers a full complement of clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services, including highly-specialized esoteric testing such as molecular diagnostics, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, toxicology and immunohistochemistry testing. HNL performs tests on 70 million samples annually, employs more than 900 dedicated professionals and retains 25 board-certified pathologists and scientists. Beth Rokus, M.Ed, MT(ASCP), SM (AAM), SPHR , CHC, joined Health Network Laboratories (HNL) in 1998 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Beth has over 35 years of experience in the laboratory industry to include experience in laboratory operations, administration, education/organizational development, human resource management, acquisition evaluation, due diligence and integration, consolidation of services and healthcare compliance. She was instrumental in the formation of HNL, Limited Partnership and successfully transitioned a hospital based laboratory into a successful for profit entity currently worth in excess of $100M.Prior to joining HNL, Beth was Administrative Director of Laboratory Services at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Program Director for The Allentown Hospital School of Medical Technology, and Senior Technologist in Microbiology at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Beth received her Bachelor of Science from College Misericordia and her Masters in the Administration of Higher Education with a major in Human Resources from Lehigh University. She holds a certificate in Project Management from Villanova University and is certified by the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. She is also certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology as a Medical Technologist, and a Specialist in Microbiology by the American Academy of Microbiology. Beth was recenlty certifed in Health Care Compliance (CHC).
