I’m a technology executive with 18 years of experience building technology companies from startups to scale ups, leading thorough successful funding round stages and exits. This allowed me to work in due diligence processes with several Venture Capital, Private Equity, Family Offices and Private & Public companies. I have experience in Adtech, performance marketing, InsureTech, eCommerce and Fintech companies in different verticals including health & life insurance, auto insurance, education, mortgage, entertainment, autos, remittances among others. I had to build teams and technology from scratch being the technical founder of most of the companies I have been part of, I have evolved from being hands-on in the early stage delivering the MVPs, iterating fast to speed up time to market and achieve Product Market Fit, through hire and coach the first members of the engineering team while establishing agile software development processes and KPIs to create alignment in the team as we scale in the different phases. This has proven to been a challenge as building software is a social experience more than a technical one, so I'm always learning how to nurture high performing engineering teams. I thrive under uncertainty and excel on problem solving and execution, creating solutions that have enabled my companies to build multimillion dollar businesses, creating value for our users, employees and investors. During my career my teams and I have enabled companies using technology to drive growth that has been recognized with awards like INC 500, Deloitte 500 and Red Herring 100 fastest growing companies. I have built technology solutions that have handle millions of transactions and events for the different industries were I have worked, managing hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue that helped my companies to achieves their outcomes and targets. One of the most successful platforms I built was for the advertising industry creating a two-sided marketplace platform that was serving thousands of Advertisers and Publishers, which enabled a profitable multi million dollar business. Over the years I had the chance to meet great people that later became mentors and coaches people from companies like Amazon, Booking, Priceline, Microsoft and others, which have helped me grow as a professional. I'm also active in technical leadership communities which allows me to meet and discuss with great people about the intersection of technology and business value.
