Marketing is my passion!From my first semester as an undergraduate, I knew I was destined to be a marketer. Branding and positioning companies and products is not only exhilarating, but allows me to focus my strategic thinking skills and creative execution into a single effort. A brand represents a promise, and I truly enjoy defining and communicating that brand promise to a targeted audience. I have extensive experience in brand development. I have facilitated the discussions critical to brand development, and have deep experience gaining consensus from all stake holders to ensure brand positioning, the value proposition and core messaging are established before the first hour of creative time is dedicated. Once defined, I direct resources to develop creative that successfully conveys the brand message to the target. I depend on a wide variety of marketing communications tools including digital strategies such as e-mail, display advertising, social media, web, and digital remarketing strategies. I successfully deploy traditional marketing communications tools including print media and mass media advertising. Finally, I extend brands into a market space through community development efforts such as sponsorships, partnerships, Chamber memberships, placement of key executives on local Boards and committees, and earned and paid public relations.I have successfully applied this brand development process in a variety of industries including health care, higher education, not for profit, telecommunications and direct sales.Finally, to successfully execute this process, a unified and motivated team is required. I employ highly refined people management skills by providing clear direction through effective listening and by exhibiting only the highest ethics.
