I started my career in journalism as a correspondent, first working in New York, then in Frankfurt. I covered the US economy and US companies as well as the German banking system and the ECB. Converted to digital journalism in 2012 and didn't regret. Worked as editor for companies & markets at Handelsblatt Online. In April 2015 Handelsblatt merged its production of digital and print content with me heading the financial news team at Handelsblatt's HQ in Düsseldorf. From 2017 to March 2019 I was responsible for the newsflow of all our digital products. From April 2019 to December 2020 I was responsible for all digital product development - first for Handelsblatt only, then also for WirtschaftsWoche - as Head of Digital Products. In 2021 I started as Member of the Editorial Board and Head of Digital at Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger.
