Enterprise Software and Data Architect
The J. Paul Getty Museum collects in seven distinct areas, including Greek and Roman antiquities, European paintings, drawings, manuscripts, sculpture, and decorative arts, and European and American photographs. The Museum's mission is to make the collection meaningful and attractive to a broad audience by presenting and interpreting the works of art through educational programs, special exhibitions, publications, conservation, and research.
I'm a freelance software architect and project manager, with a focus in data modeling, API design, and semantic projects for the arts and culture. I'm also a creative developer, interested in the intersection of the physical and the digital. I was one of the founders and currently co-lead the Pittsburgh New Media Meetup, a community of artists and technologists interested in promoting and supporting innovative work in the media arts in Pittsburgh. In a previous life I was an Emmy-winning motion graphics animator, with experience in national broadcast design and interactive applications.
