Edward Thompson is the Vice-President for Advancement at Molloy College. He is responsible for all fundraising, marketing and government relations activities, and is also committed to the Catholic and Dominican heritage of Molloy. Since he came to Molloy, Ed has spearheaded a fundraising and marketing transformation at the College. Ed has led efforts that have raised over $60 million for Molloy. He is responsible for raising the largest gifts in the College’s history. Ed leads a robust marketing effort that has significantly raised the institution’s public profile in recent years, and led to significant increases in enrollment. Ed is committed to engaged civil discourse. To that end, he co-founded the Energeia Partnership, the Academy for Regional Stewardship at Molloy College. Energeia now boasts several hundred members dedicated to transformation on Long Island. He also oversees the Sustainability Institute at Molloy College, an organization committed to education and public policy on sustainability issues. He serves on the boards of Fans4TheCure, a prostate cancer awareness organization, and Vision Long Island, a smart growth advocacy organization.
