Environmental Engineering Intern
The Forest Service works to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation's forests and grasslands.
I currently work as the Environmental Engineer for the Coronado National Forest located in Tucson, Arizona. My work mainly consists of abandoned mine remediation done under CERCLA authority and environmental emergency response actions. I am also pursuing a Master’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Arizona. I am interested in gaining more knowledge and experience in environmental remediation, and in particular, holding leadership roles on projects as I advance in my career.
