Greg McKelvey is EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at Fossil Group, where he leads the company's strategic growth plan and transformation initiatives that position the company for long-term success. In this role he has recently led omni-channel retailing, analytics-driven digital marketing and smartwatch initiatives. McKelvey is also head of the company’s connected devices group (CDG), where he oversees global engineering and the smartwatch supply chain. McKelvey and his CDG team have built out and integrated Misfit’s technology stack (acquired in December 2015) into an unmatched wearable technology platform and global business system (i.e. integrated technology into traditional design, manufacturing and GTM processes). Within two years, Fossil Group has become one of the top-five smartwatch companies in the world, launching more than 300 smartwatch styles across 14 global fashion brands in over 50 countries and 21 languages. Smartwatches are now more than 20 percent of Fossil Group's watch business, capturing over $500 million of category market share. In his previous role as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer at Fossil Group, McKelvey led global strategy, global marketing and had global P&L responsibility for more than half of the company’s $3B portfolio of brands. Prior to joining Fossil Group, McKelvey served as: •EVP, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer of Dean Foods, responsible for strategy, transformation, marketing services, and information technology •SVP, Strategy and Marketing Services for WhiteWave Foods, where he led strategy, supply chain design and merger integration for a business that is one of the top growth and value creation stories in Consumer Goods over the past 20 years •Manager in Bain & Company’s consumer and private equity practices, advising clients on insight-driven growth and margin strategies McKelvey graduated from Georgetown with a B.S. in finance and received his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
