I'm a versatile and determined journalist with seven years in news media. I've reported groundbreaking investigations, produced for video, audio and social media and presented in live broadcasts across multiple formats. Working with editors, producers and fellow reporters, I aim to cut through the noise in the New York City media ecosystem with thoughtful, pointed articles about issues that matter to everyday life here. At NY1, I've broken news across a range of urban issues, from politics, to housing, to climate resiliency, to health. Despite arriving at our studios with zero TV experience, I've become a regular fixture in in-studio conversations with anchors on our premier morning and primetime politics news shows. As a key reporter on our digital team, I've cultivated deep research and detective skills that allow me to quickly come up to speed on complex city problems—and then produce clear, concise and informative articles that are worth the time of our busy audience. I have been honored to receive several awards for my work that speak to my adaptability and range of interests, including for investigative reporting, breaking news coverage and cultural enterprise writing. Each day, I start work excited to learn something new—and useful—about this fascinating city.
