Gender and Social Inclusion Expert Within International Development

I am an International Development and Policy professional with 20+ years experience in U.S., international and multi-lateral development policy and advocacy work, gender equality and social inclusion integration, disability inclusion, DEIA, business development, global south partnership building, organizational development, coalition building, and multi-media communications. I have worked for multiple years in Francophone and Anglophone Africa, the Caribbean, South America, MENA and Asia and specialize in women's economic empowerment, agricultural development, fair trade, workforce development, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, food security and nutrition, land and property rights, LGBTQIA inclusion, disability inclusion, the inclusion of minority racial/ethnic groups, positive youth development, older people's rights, women's rights, positive masculinity, education, civil society capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, procurement reform, advocacy and overall aid accountability. I currently serve as Senior Technical Advisor for Gender, Equity, Safeguarding and Social Inclusion (GESSI) at FHI 360, where I helped spearhead and launch a new organization-wide GESI Framework 2.0 and set of corresponding guidelines for business development and project implementation. I also previously servced as a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Steering Committees and Safeguarding Task Force. I support the Black Lives Matter movement and Decolonizing Aid movement as well as all efforts to support great localization, local capacity building and equitable partnerships building.
