As Director, Professional Development & Marketing, Sharan oversees all professional development programs for lawyers and is responsible for the firm's marketing strategy and all aspects of its execution. She works collaboratively with firm leaders to align business and talent strategies. The recruitment of legal professionals and management of diversity initiatives are at the heart of promoting professional and business growth for the firm and are also key components of Sharan's responsibilities. Sharan has over 15 years of experience in the legal industry including recruitment, performance management, compensation and professional development of legal professionals. She also brings to the role her invaluable experience as a former labour and employment lawyer and articling student with Farris. She is a long standing member of the Professional Development Consortium and the Law Society of BC. She is also a member of the National Association for Law Placement and Legal Marketing Association.
