Bob Funk Jr. is owner and president of Prodigal, a local sports, entertainment and special events production and marketing company that operated the Oklahoma City Barons franchise as well as currently co-owning and operating the Oklahoma City Energy FC, co-promoting PBR (Professional Bull Riders) events in OKC and Tulsa and producing and operating the Winter Shoppes in OKC. Bob has worked on a variety of projects in the sports and entertainment world following his graduation from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1998 including Summer & Winter X Games, AND 1 Mix Tape Tour, as well as Davis Cup and Fed Cup matches across the United States. Bob and his family are actively involved in community efforts within the state of Oklahoma. Through Prodigal Bob has participated in events with: Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Youth Hockey Association, Sexual Assault Awareness month with the Oklahoma Attorney General Office and PALS (Police Athletic League Sports). Individually, he serves as Past Chairman of the Greater Oklahoma City Sports Consortium, is a board member for the State of Oklahoma March of Dimes chapter, organizing committee member for the National Sports Forum, is a graduate of the CommStar Program at Tinker AFB, graduate of the Citizen Police Academy, supporter of The First Tee program, former chair for the March of Dimes Sports Headliner Banquet, Board Member for the Hough Ear Institute, Board Member for Empower One, Board Member of Express Employment Professionals, Graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class XXXI and is an active member of Downtown Rotary Club 29.
