Shaping and leading high-performance teams across product, technology, marketing, analytics, business development, and more, he nurtures both an intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial culture that puts the customer first and brings products to life. ★ ★ ★ Most recently, as the President of Shutterfly, Jim marshaled a family of brands to make up the leading online retail and manufacturing platform for photography and personalized products. Driving authentic connections with their customers, Jim identified and charted unprecedented growth opportunities through strategic acquisitions and integrations, managing a $1B+ P&L. Navigating through significant change and challenges, including purchase of the business by a private equity firm, transition from public to private ownership status, and not to mention, the global pandemic with significant risk to manufacturing and growth momentum, Jim remained steadfast in his leadership of the company, integration of acquisition targets, development of a high-performance organization, and right-sizing of cost centers to optimize growth and margins. ★ ★ ★ Throughout each of his experiences, Jim has demonstrated his passion for recruiting, mentoring, and standing-up high-performance leadership teams that share the same vision for creating and building brands with a compelling connection to their customers. Jim currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the $1B publicly traded Hibbett Sports where he leverages his career experiences to focus on radical digital and technology transformation initiatives. Jim also recently concluded his five-year tenure on the Board of Trustees with Equitas Healthcare where he championed the changing landscape surrounding healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
