Engineering System Solutions (ES2) is a full‐service, licensed, and insured Structural, Electrical,\r\nPlumbing and Mechanical Engineering as well as Building Systems Commissioning firm with\r\noffices located in Sacramento, CA, Las Vegas, NV and Idaho Falls, ID. The Idaho Falls office is the corporate\r\nheadquarters and was established in 1999.

I have been lucky enough to be involved in the design of many diverse projects. Generally, my involvement is focused on the structural engineering phase, but as a member of many design-build teams, I have learned the importance of involving all team members early in the conceptual phase. it is VERY IMPORTANT to the success of a project. I have been involved in the design of the following: Schools-from Elementary to University facilities; Industrial faciliities - from large storage and handling facilities to smaller fabricators with kiln systems; Commercial Projects - Retail Centers to Office Buildings; Residential - Single Family and Multi-family complexes; Parking Structures; Civil Structures - Bridges, tunnels, channels, drainage structures, site walls, etc. The list goes on... My highest profile project would be the 120-ft tall sorcerer's hat out at MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was design and built using composite glass fiber sandwich panels. I always hold my breath when I hear of a hurricane in Florida. It was designed in the computer for hurricane wind pressures but it will be interesting to see how it handles those pressures in reality. Specialties: Finite Element Analysis and Design of buried structures using soil structure interaction to optimize the structural design. (Sounds interesting, huh? Good bedtime story material... :)
