Professor of Ed Technology
Eastern Michigan University That's True
During my K-12 career I taught Special Education and English, designed several new courses, and served as a department chair. During my higher education career I have been a web developer, instructional designer, director of technology services, clinical associate professor, and more. In my current position, I am a professor in the Teacher Education Department at Eastern Michigan University. For the moment, my research agenda focuses on social media in higher education, visualization tools, and P-20 teacher belief and efficacy as a way of assessing readiness to implement technologies in the classroom. My work on Immersive Virtual Worlds is on hold as I am engaged in many other projects including the development of an international center, an urban education summit, writing an accreditation report, and serving as faculty senator and grad council representative.
