Working within communications for more than 15 years makes me more than a professional – I have become an expert in many areas. In addition to years of working in journalism, print media and digital content management, I am a proficient project leader, strategist, and advisor to senior management. Partners and colleagues appreciate my structured approach to developing, implementing and managing projects and processes. And they like that I remain composed in hectic situations, and that I have a professional attitude but with a sense of humor. I am proactive and gladly share my experience, though am open to new ways of thinking and working. But probably my key strength is my personality and attitude. I’d venture to say that most people can be taught how to create a communications plan or develop a process for a corporate press office. I’m convinced that the characteristics I possess are much harder to teach: the ability to positively interact with colleagues and customers, and create a fun, creative workplace.
