Public relations professional with two decades of experience specializing in corporate communications — acquisitions, integrations, spinouts, establishing corporate reputation and building thought leadership, as well as creating highly engaged, purpose-driven teams. Currently leads global corporate communications for Elanco Animal Health, developing internal and external communications strategies, focusing on corporate positioning, digital communications, and employee communications, as well as crisis and reputation management. Prior to joining Elanco, Dekker was a Senior Vice President and Partner at Fleishman-Hillard, one of the world’s largest public relations consultancies. She worked with clients throughout the food and ag chain to manage critical issues of consumer interest, including biotechnology and sustainability. Her media relations efforts for the Council for Biotechnology Information earned a Silver Anvil for global communications, the industry’s top honor.
