National Director of Collegiate and Telebehavioral Health Initiatives

A psychiatric hospital system exclusively focused on eating disorders, providing the full spectrum of treatment services to adults, adolescents, children and their families.

Casey N Tallent, PhD, is the National Collegiate Outreach Director for Eating Recovery Center and its Partner Programs. In her role, Casey focuses on outreach to colleges, universities, and high schools. She is a well-know national speaker and trainer who has conducted trainings for university counseling and health centers across the nation on improving eating disorders treatment services on campus. She has also helped many colleges establish eating disorders treatment teams and eating disorders treatment policies. Casey helped to develop the virtual intensive outpatient programs at Eating Recovery Center and Insight Behavioral Health in order to improve access to care for those impacted by mental health disorders. Before joining Eating Recovery Center, Casey was the Eating Disorder Treatment Team Coordinator at University of Nebraska – Lincoln’s Counseling and Psychological Services. During her tenure at University of Nebraska, Casey provided counseling to students, coordinated the university’s multidisciplinary eating disorders treatment team, as well as planned, executed and presented at a variety of outreach events. She received her BA and Masters in Counseling from University of Missouri-Kansas City, and her PhD in Counseling Psychology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
