During my 20+ year professional career at Royal DSM the key thread is leading “digital” transformation. Royal DSM is a purpose led science-based company, employing 23,000+ employees globally, specialized in solutions for Health, Nutrition & Bioscience, and annual sales of €10 billion In the first part of my career it was about digital commerce, procurement, digital workplace, marketing and global communications & branding; resulting in online sales of more than €1.5 billion annually and the rebranding of all our external online presence in 2010. Additionally introduced some of the latest technologies in digital marketing & sales (Adobe AEM, Microsoft Dynamics, Software AG WebMethos), including cloud based solutions. In a later part of my career did lead the ERP (SAP) integration of USD 2.6 billion in acquired companies in the US. The introduction of a private label business model resulting in >USD 300 million in sales for North-America. And leading the way as one of the first large multi-nationals in moving to Microsoft public cloud offering in office365 (for our corporate Intranet). Since mid 2017 working out of India, leading 2 transformation and automation & analytics at Scale for Group business Services. During 2016-2017 successfully led the transformation of the IT shared service organization, resulting in a business saving of >€24 million annually. Driving the transformation program in the shared services organization which resulted in savings of €60 million+ (MLN) during 2019-2021 and thereafter €25 MLN+ annually, by focusing on location strategy, organizational simplification, driving the intelligent automation (100+ Bots deployed replacing 150+ FTEs, Web & Mobile apps, AI & Chatbots) and sourcing strategy for finance, HR, procurement and IT function. At the moment scaling up and leading the capabilities in India for change management, technology development, intelligent process automation, integration, data & analytics, digital marketing & sales, operations, sourcing, supply chain, finance, personnel & organization, project management, agile execution, and digital technology services. Ultimately resulting in significant annual cost savings. Leading the digital transformation of DSM's Health, Nutrition & Bioscience business, resulting in annual top-line growth. Enabling and leading the delivery of digital solutions and capabilities across all functions (finance, P&O and Group Business Services) at DSM and the Health, Nutrition & Bioscience businesses with a focus on Marketing & Sales, Operations, Sourcing and across the Supply chain.
