Have you ever seen a show with a bunch of people screaming and yelling on the Stock Exchange Floor? Well that was me. I was one of those guys yelling. Only it wasn't the Stock Exchange Floor, it the Options Floor. High energy, quick decision making, fast paced, high stress, fortunes made and fortunes lost in seconds. And I loved every minute of it. Well almost every minute. It was an amazing 20 year ride in the world of trading. I didn't start off as Trader. Just like most stories, I started out at the bottom. No really, the very bottom. Getting yelled at all day and not knowing why I was being yelled at. I wasn't sure I would last the first week, but slowly I started to understand. I was a sponge and I asked questions to the right people. I befriended the people who I knew were successful. I have always been a self starter, so it came natural to me. I wanted what they had. I needed to understand how it all worked. I am an extremely competitive motivated individual and I honestly believe that hard work leads to success. I work hard and I play hard. My successes in trading led to new roles in Training, Managing, Director, Partner and even moving across the country to open an office. I believe I succeeded because I understood the importance in the relationships, and the time needed to solidify those relationships. I have 5 children and I remember complaining about the way one of their coaches was acting. My mother said “Don’t ever criticize unless you think you can do better” So I volunteered to coach. I coached a lot over the years. We didn't always have the best teams, but we worked hard and at the end of the day we knew we had given it our all. I wasn't born a Trader or Coach. The same as I wasn't born a Sales Representative or an Account Executive. I became these things over the years. The life experiences are what mold us into the people we are. I am a highly motivated, passionate, experienced, hard working individual constantly seeking my next challenge.
