As a naturally curious person passionate about building innovative products that benefit people's lives, I am fortunate to be an executive at DNAnexus, where I am able to leverage my years of technical and management leadership in software to help advance the world of genomics and medicine. I started my career in physics blending software with experimental physics to understand how the universe was structured. Later, I found my passion was building software and complex systems at companies such as Advanced Visual Systems, Sun/NetDynamics, Rapt, AmberPoint, and Vantiq. My most significant accomplishment was at Model N, a company I co-founded and helped grow to a global, public software company (NYSE: MODN), and rose to Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer.
