Strong background in innovation and strategy development with over 40 world-wide patents. Passionate about the on-going sensor revolution and was an early visionary in the development and application of the Internet of Things (IoT). Diverse experience from industrial research to consumer electronics to silicon sensor design and manufacturing with over 25 years in the MEMS and sensors field. Experienced public speaker who particularly enjoys presenting very technical subjects to a broad audience with an interactive and approachable style. Executive level experience in strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, research, development and decision making. Leadership of the technical community through seminars, tech days, creation of a technical career path, and off-sites to celebrate engineering and recognize achievements. Specialties: MEMS processing, device design, and testing with a focus on sensors. Technology evaluation for feasibility and market potential across a wide range of disciplines.
