We were formed by the March 2013 combination of international law firm Salans LLP, Canadian law firm Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC) and international law firm SNR Denton.

As Regional General Counsel for MENA with FFI I am part of the fast-moving team focussed on growing a globally significant green energy company that will enable the decarbonisation of hard to abate industries. I have extensive experience in advising on major capital projects and international transactions in emerging markets, through the full energy value chain, and also in the construction, transport and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining FFI, I was the Managing Partner of Dentons office in Muscat. I also led the Energy & Projects team. Before that I was General Counsel with government-owned Oman Shipping Company SAOC where I set up the company's Legal department and was a member of the executive management team. Previously I worked and lived in a number of countries as in-house counsel for BP. During these 12 years I worked on international upstream projects and related pipeline & processing infrastructure development; as well as the wide range of commercial matters arising on major projects. My family and I have been lucky enough to make Oman our home since 2008. When I can escape from the office, we enjoy exploring this wonderful country: camping in the desert, hiking in the mountains & boating at sea. Our 3 children (aka ‘The Figlets’) are my focus and inspiration. I relax by sailing Hobie Cats and Laser Bahias; and by following the mixed fortunes of Bath Rugby and Portsmouth FC.
