Responsible for leading, coordinating or participating design, development, analysis, installations, testing, implementations, documentation, reviews and support as required. Work assignments are considered complex in size and/or scope and consist of either account and/or project work.Designs solutions with consideration to reusability, scalability, flexibility, security policies and practices, supportability, interconnections, and EADSS architectural direction. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Contribute to defining timetables and project plans; analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.Accountable for the ongoing support of application systems in production including on-call problem analysis, resolution, escalation, and reporting as necessary. This also includes monitoring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Take complete ownership of work assignments including understanding how they relate to the application and inter systems. Provide suggestions and alternatives for improvements that assess impacts within the application and provide recommendations and rationale. Manage work to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks and ensure that lead/management is notified promptly when there is any under/over allocation of assignments.Design and implement a self-development plan with the assistance of career manager. Provides coaching to development team and peers on tools, techniques and processes and provides input into personal development plan of others. Contribute to growth and education of development team members. Be seen as a role model for staff and be available for advice and guidance.
