California State University Channel Islands (CI), located in Camarillo, California, is a student-centered, four-year, public university known for its interdisciplinary, multicultural, and international perspectives and its emphasis on experiential and service learning.
With more than 32 years of banking and investment experience in the Ventura area, Judy brought a wealth of knowledge when she joined California State University Channel Islands in September 2003. Formerly a VP & Regional Manager and Vice President & Trust and Investment Officer with Bank of A. Levy and Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, Judy managed over $200 million in trust and investment assets for more than 200 clients. She holds a professional designation in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA, and has spoken to a number of organizations including the Governors Conference on Women in Business on the topic of financial planning. Judy also served as the first Director for Studio Channel Islands Art Studio located on the campus of CSUCI. In addition to serving on the Moorpark College Advisory Committee for Accounting Curricula, Judy is involved in several community and professional organizations. She is a founder of the Women’s Legacy Fund of the Ventura County Community Foundation and currently serves on the grants committee. She is a former member of the Camarillo Breakfast Rotary Club, former President of the Estate Planning Council of Ventura County and former Chairman of the Ventura County Chapter of the American Red Cross. In her position as Interim Manager for Budget & Planning, Judy reports to the AVP for Budget, Planning & Analysis. After almost 17 years with the University, Judy started a well earned retirement November 30, 2019.
