I've designed, built, deployed, and managed computing solutions across AWS, Google, Microsoft, Softlayer and Rackspace. I am an expert at negotiating contracts and using existing price opportunities to target optimal costs or reduce costs for existing solutions. One example is migrating predictable workloads from high-cost private clouds to physical data centers. Another is to implement reserved instances on AWS and manage changes and reporting to those. Lately, I've been focused on Cassandra, Graphite, Logstash/Splunk, Python, Monitoring, System Tuning, and security all within the scope of highly efficient automation.
