TLDR: I'm a burgeoning expert in community outreach, project management and innovative marketing. I'm also really good at making complicated Excel documents understandable. As a Marketing Analyst at ComEd, I am involved in the everyday planning and execution of ComEd's smart grid and smart meter education outreach. I manage our event company, review outreach plans, approve activation sites, and compile metrics from our tentacles of outreach that are needed for annual filing with the state of Illinois. Having begun my education in broadcast journalism and eventually arriving to where I am now, I've worn many different hats, from writing to media production to advertising to marketing to project management. I'm not a seasoned veteran yet, but my short time in the working world has allowed me an opportunity to see what value I can offer a company: - I do what is necessary to get the job done, even if I have to step out of my job responsibilities to make it happen. - I have a lot of big ideas. Some take root and some don't, but they will never go unheard. - I often use analogies to ensure everyone understands what I need and why I need it- just like Yoda uses sayings and proverbs to train Luke Skywalker. - I value the end customer, as they're the ones who ultimately affect the company's bottom line. - My left brain and right brain are in the midst of a very happy marriage. - My background in trivia keeps me inquisitive about everything- I always want to be prepared to answer any question that comes my way.
