As the world begins to recover from COVID and new green shoots begin to form, I reflect back and can say that I am extremely proud of the role my team and I have played to keep the travel sector moving during COVID and ensuring that the world can safely travel once more as the pandemic recedes. I am excited about the role communications and marketing leaders are playing as we reset our industries, assess and promote the many innovations that have come about from the pandemic and critically drive consumer confidence in a post-COVID world. I look forward to continuing to partner with marketing, communications and corporate affairs leaders across the travel, financial services and technology sectors around the world as we collectively help ensure consumers can return to the things that they love doing, the way that they love to do them - this is perhaps our most important objective right now. This is a mission that gets me excited every day as I wake up and head into the office - whether it be my company's offices in the city of London, or my makeshift office in my front room. And I cannot wait until I can return to travelling for work and reconnect with all our amazing colleagues and partners around the world!
