As an administrative professional with twenty years of experience in the private sector and Federal government, I know my diverse skills and qualifications will make me an asset to any organization. As you will see from my experience, I’ve built my career in a variety of roles in Information Technology, Marketing/Communications and Outreach. I’m not only accustomed to wearing many hats, I sincerely enjoy it. I thrive in an environment where no two work days are exactly the same. I’m an excellent oral communicator and presenter with experience in all forms of media including print, web, video and audio. One of my recent accomplishments involved coordinating the inaugural launch of Medicaid.gov in 2012. As Co-Lead of a cross division team, collaborated with multiple division heads on development and maintenance of content. I also coded, tested and corrected website navigation for launch on December 2, 2012. I continue to support the website as web administrator and visual design lead. My previous awarded accomplishment was as technical lead and Contract Officer Representative (COR) for the development of the Waiver Management System (WMS). This was a large project which involved coordinating project teams and formally restructuring the documentation and processing of three Medicaid authorities [1915(c), 1915(b) and 1115]. This was only possible by fostering communication between program and IT staff then translating between the two. I coordinated documentation of requirements, supervised the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and managed the Authority To Operate (ATO) process. The WMS was the first electronic system of record that states could electronically apply for changes to their Medicaid State Plan.
