As Operations Manager, Miriam Chan is the logistical engine behind the analytics machine, managing the daily operations of the company. Her duties range from writing and enforcing internal policies and procedures to designing the firm's accounting, HR, payroll and benefits systems.Most recently Miriam led the day-to-day and strategic operations for the western part of the country at the Obama campaign, managing a team of 16 operations staff, executing a $22 million budget, overseeing the hiring and onboarding of 646 employees, and the leasing and opening of 157 offices.On her walk to work at the campaign, Miriam was photographed for a street fashion blog while donning her signature black palette and staple red lipstick (consistently since the age of 21). Not surprisingly, Miriam interned for fashion designer Alexander Wang in college.Miriam, who evolved from a first concert experience with Boyz II Men to a Smashing Pumpkins first album purchase, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in English and Government.
