I'm a strategic marketing communications specialist and Chartered Marketer with a passion for all things membership-related! I am Senior Consultant for Ashridge Communications, a membership research and communications consultancy. I also have over 13 years' Director/senior management experience in membership and professional bodies, mid-sized charities and not-for-profits. Keen to keep my skills fresh, I am currently studying for an MSc in Digital Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University/MMC Learning. My experience has included leading campaigns, web and digital development, digital and e-marketing, media relations, social media, design and brand strategy, events, volunteer and stakeholder engagement, market research. At a senior level, I have been involved in strategic business planning, organisational change and crisis management, and I have built and developed both new and experienced teams. I have managed budgets from £6m a year to just a few thousand pounds or less!
