Chrome River Offers Full Fax Support for Receipts Multiple methods supported for sending receipt images to Chrome River. Chrome River is pleased to announce that our imaging application now supports fax transmissions in addition to direct to email scans from multi-function devices. Users can be anywhere in the world and simply fax their receipts to Chrome River. The receipts will be matched to the correct expense report, and sent on their way for approval and payment. Chrome River uses the highly reliable two-dimensional bar code format (familiar to customers of express delivery services) to provide consistent, reliable, and accurate bar recognition of the faxes-even where transmission quality is weak. Powerful imaging software is even able to correct small flaws in the fax to improve legibility. In addition to fax support, Chrome River continues to support receipt imaging from virtually any multi-function device. Information can be transmitted to our servers by email or secure protocols.
