As EVP - System Chief Clinical Officer, my job is to find ways to improve the patient experience at CHRISTUS Health hospitals, clinics and post-acute providers, specifically by supporting our physicians, nurses, and clinical care givers with the information and technology they need to take care of their patients with confidence and excellence. I am also responsible for designing and implementing evidence-based best practices that promote patient safety and improve the patient experience of care. With experience both providing clinical care and executing EMR implementations in a variety of health care settings, I understand what both the capabilities and limitations of data—and the technology required to generate it—represent.
