Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce is so beautiful it inspired a community quest to make it the best mid-sized city.

I have worked in economic development in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas over twenty years. I currently serve as Vice President of Economic and Talent Development for the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. I have substantial experience in place-based marketing, incentive structuring, and helping communities grow their entrepreneurial base. During the course of my career I have worked with companies from technology start-ups to multinational corporations including HP, Toshiba, AMD, GE, International Paper, Schlumberger and Volkswagen. I have also led the creation of three technology oriented business parks, the creation of a regional entrepreneurial network, incubators and numerous local incentive programs including grant funds, tax abatements, real estate and tax increment financing. Additionally, I have helped communities acquire millions of dollars in federal and state grant funds for numerous economic development projects.
