CGH Medical Center is a progressive acute care facility located in the Rock River Valley region of Northern Illinois.

As a Deputy District Attorney, I prosecute a wide range of criminal offenses, including those arising from acts of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. I am responsible for all aspects of pre and post-trial litigation including preliminary hearings, bail review hearings, suppression hearings, trials and sentencings. Most recently, I have taken on the lead attorney position within the Northern Impact Workers’ Compensation Insurance Fraud Task Force. The Task Force investigates complex workers’ compensation provider fraud, premium fraud and underground economy cases. While at the the US Attorney's Office, I was assigned to the Narcotics and Violent Crimes Division where I investigated and prosecuted federal drug and gun crimes. In addition to conducting trials, I was responsible for all aspects of pre and post-trial litigation including presentation to the grand jury, detention hearings, suppression hearings, sentencings, and appeals. From 2002 through 2008, I served as a JAG in the United States Air Force. During this period of active duty military service, I served as the Chief of the Adverse Actions Section in the legal office at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, the Chief of Military Justice at Edwards Air Force Base in California, the High Value Detainee Operations Officer for the Regime Crimes Liaison Office (RCLO) in Baghdad, Iraq, and as an Assistant Professor at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado.
