Journalist of 20+ years currently with CBC News in Calgary, formerly with BBC News in the UK. Working primarily as a mobile journalist, or MOJO, filing original news stories for web, radio, TV and social media platforms using only iPhone, mobile tech and apps to gather and produce content. Many of my stories focus on under-reported communities and groups in Calgary and related social issues. You can also occasionally here me on CBC radio across Canada working with the national business unit, presenting a daily business news segment. As well as an extensive journalism and media background spanning the last 20+ years, I have also worked in senior communications and senior media relations roles in Alberta's energy sector (international E&P and industry association), as well as handling media relations for a post-secondary institution.
