As part of McKinsey’s Advanced Industries practice, Melanie works with clients primarily in the aerospace & defense and industrials sectors. She has significant experience in business and operations transformations, growth strategy, design-to-value, supply chain management, and engineering and product development. Before joining McKinsey, Melanie was a principal in Booz & Company’s Global Aerospace & Defense practice. Prior to that, she was a systems engineer with Boeing Integrated Defense Systems. While at Boeing, she was part of the Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation group, performing operations research and analysis in support of cross-business unit project teams. Melanie has an MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California and a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Duke University.
