A former television reporter, Dave Karraker has more than two decades of marketing experience working on some of the world’s most engaging brands, including Campari, Sony, SKYY Vodka, Virgin, Martha Stewart, Stoli, Maker’s Mark, and Sega. Dave’s area of focus is Relationship Marketing – activating multiple marketing disciplines to develop in-depth interpersonal relationships with consumers and stakeholders, leading to clearly defined actions. The disciplines managed by Dave and his team include brand marketing, corporate communications, media relations, influencer relations, third-party partnerships, events, celebrity partnerships, sponsorships, philanthropy, and licensing. He most recently demonstrated his expertise in this area as the architect of the Campari brand's resurgence in the US. Dave was also responsible for the communications strategy for Wild Turkey's current partnership with Matthew McConaughey, and the high profile launches of Campari's Negroni Week, Sony PlayStation 3, Kmart’s e-commerce division, and Sega Dreamcast, as well as multiple products in the spirits industry. Dave is the communications liaison for Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean for Gruppo Campari. He was also on Sony’s Global Communications Steering Committee and Allied Domecq’s Global Communications Council.
