Involved in digital communications since 1993. My passion is creating digital interactions that leverage our information relationships to deliver quality user experiences across all digital media. Leads development and stewardship of UB's digital presence, including its externally focused, top-level Web, social media, and mobile presences. My work is leading edge with expertise in developing University-wide top-level web and social media presence, academic units, portals, admissions (undergraduate and graduate; both domestic and international), alumni, news media, internal communications, philanthropy, government relations, community relations, and issues management and crisis communications. Leads products recognized nationally with over 100 awards, more Web development awards than any other higher ed institution. Recognition includes the grand gold for interactive media and numerous gold awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, Best University Web Site from the Web Marketing Association, IBM Best Practices Partner, and inclusion in collections of best-designed websites. My vision has been written about in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Educause, CASE Currents, Web Content Management, and other media. I lecture internationally at conferences and webinars.
