Hi, I am Mike! With a proven track record, I possess extensive experience leading all facets of business and HR operations across diverse for-profit and non-profit sectors. I have demonstrable success in providing direction to business, building strong leadership, and establishing productive company culture. My expertise lies in managing people, overseeing HR initiatives and systems, implementing best practices, monitoring adherence to internal policies, and addressing grievances and issues. Throughout my career, I have utilised my skills to analyse processes, identify risks/underperforming areas, and devise corrective action plans to optimise operations and maximise productivity. Successfully led negotiations, consultations and partnership activities in highly unionised environments. Significant experience of continuous improvement and change. An experienced senior manager and leader having experience for managing HR, L&D, Finance, I.T, Health Safety and Facilities and being the Company Secretary for a complex not for profit organisation. A professional HR generalist (Chartered MCIPD) with over 30 years experience within leadership, HR and operational roles. I have proficiency in L&D and charity governance as well as managing change, developing/implementing growth strategies, and leading teams. Being an articulate communicator, I am adept at securing strategic alliances, negotiating contracts, strengthening constructive employee relations, and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
