Infectious disease specialist with extensive experience directing the development and execution of a variety of clinical trials across multiple infectious disease, vaccine and inflammation areas for both large and regional pharmaceutical companies and CROs. Adept at navigating the regulatory approval process, addressing medical affairs/drug safety issues, and developing publications, presentations, and other literature publicizing research findings and engaging clinical and patient communities. Demonstrated success collaborating with multidisciplinary leadership teams, forging relationships with global key opinion leaders, clinical professionals, clinical study sites and regulators, and facilitating training for clinical study, CRO, business development and sales personnel. Therapeutic areas of expertise include infectious diseases, chronic viral infections such as HIV, herpes, and hepatitis, acute viral infections (including influenza and RSV), as well as antibacterial and antifungal treatments and vaccines. Additional areas of expertise include dermatology, inflammation, pediatric and geriatric drug development.
