National Marketing Representative

I am a graduate from the University of California, Riverside. I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in International Management, as well as, a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Shortly after graduation, I joined the Underwriting Department at Berkshire Hathaway. Since then, I have learned a great deal about underwriting and workers compensation insurance. Recently I transitioned to the Marketing Department through which I initiate contact with prospective agencies and identify their characteristics and qualifications to see if there is business potential between the firm and BHHC. I am responsible for educating our agents on our workers compensation, auto, and property products. While at UC Riverside, I traveled to Ghangzhou, China and Oxford, United Kingdom. Both excursions consisted of global lectures conveyed by international professors about the fundamentals of business, the current economy, and its effects on the near future. In my second year of college, I became a part of Delta Sigma Pi, an international, co-ed, Professional Business Fraternity. It has taught me the importance of business ethics, integrity, and building a strong network. Further, I worked as an Orientation Leader on campus. This enhanced my leadership and marketing skills and gave me an opportunity to communicate with a variety of individuals on a daily basis. In addition, I worked as a leasing agent and marketing coordinator at GrandMarc Apartments. Through this position, I acquired skills in client relations, service development, and promotion management.
