Betterment is the smarter automated investing service that aims to provide optimized investment returns for individual, IRA, 401k, and rollover accounts.

I am a strategic communications leader, creative brand marketer, and editorial storyteller with a focus on financial security and climate. I help companies communicate complex topics through data, research, brand marketing communications, copywriting, and storytelling. I have experience in both B2C and B2B content. My consumer-facing content + comms work has reached hundreds of thousands of people to help them improve their finances. Now, my emerging focus is on climate issues and I want to help people improve their “energy spend.” I am particularly interested in opportunities that are focused on sustainability, renewable energy, and carbon removal. Projects I have worked on range from building content platforms from the ground up with front-end engineers; working with data and research scientists to define and articulate survey research; collaborating across teams and vendors to launch product and company news; writing and developing short- and long-form content to support campaigns; and project managing lengthy editorial projects with multiple stakeholders.
