The Fort Lauderdale, FL, native is a 2000 graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. While at BC, she totaled 33 goals and 21 assists for 87 points in her four-year career. Recently she became a 2012 Boston College Hall of Fame nominee and still holds the record for most points scored in a single-season (45), most goals in a single-season (18) and is second in BC history in both points (87) and goals (33).Guarino was named to the NEWISA All-New England First-Team as well as the College Buzz and the NSCAA All America Northeast Region team her senior season. She also earned All-Big East Second-Team honors her senior year and was Big East player of the week twice.Following graduation from Boston College, Guarino continued her playing career by being invited to the WUSA draft combine in 2002. Guarino was the head women's soccer coach at DeSales for seven years and holds the school record for most wins in women’s soccer coaching history. Prior to working at DeSales, she had a two-year stint as an assistant with Boston College. She also spent one year at William Smith College in Geneva, NY and spent one year as the top assistant for Division II West Chester University.In addition to her coaching experience, Guarino is a certified National Strength and Conditioning Personal Trainer and had worked at Summit Sports Training Center as a Performance Coach & Morning Fitness Director. She also has earned her National, Advanced & Premier National Diplomas with Distinction from the NSCAA. Guarino resides in Skippack, PA.
