I’m an accomplished digital executive, leader and strategist with a love for creating value and driving revenue for businesses. While I’ll always be an engineer at heart, I believe that technology is a means to an end, not the end itself. Transforming and growing businesses by leveraging technology is my passion. I speak geek, sales, marketing, client, support, monetization, strategy and executive – with the ability to connect a common thread among all. As an Engineering Director at Unisys, I had the good fortune to lead a top team of globally-distributed engineers to bring mission critical enterprise solutions to market. My pedigree was established with 99.999% uptime being the standard for the world’s largest banks, airlines and telecoms. On the other end of the business size spectrum, I earned my virtual, real-world “MBA” as a principle partner of a creative web agency, Slamm. Even though we went from 30,000 employees to 4, I strived to build client and audience-focused solutions that maintained the same level of ‘ilities (usability, availability, scalability, etc.) as I was responsible for in the Enterprise space. Exiting this business with a successful sale capped off my first startup. As Executive Vice President of Digital at Beasley Media Group, I had the opportunity and privilege to help drive transformation of a traditional media company into the digital age. Our brand’s digital experiences, revenue responsibilities for our digital sales and advertising strategy and technology M&A / investments fell under my organization. I'm now very excited to be on board 10up in the new position of Director of Client Growth Strategy. I've long admired 10up as a digital agency and have also been a partner of theirs for 6 years, so I'm looking forward to contributing to new and accelerated growth for the company.
