I have worked in the Security environment for approx. 18 years covering various areas but predominantly networks, IT, policy, compliance and risk management. I have a good understanding of OS’s and databases and a sound knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley, COBIT, PCI, PSN, TISAC and security standards, BS7799, ISO 27001 and other regulatory requirements. I have an extensive knowledge of O2 systems, network architecture and firewalls. I am very familiar with O2 policy, regulatory and legal requirements around customer and sensitive data. I spent a number of years undertaking risk assessments/audits to ensure systems/networks/product met acceptable security standards. I have Incident Management experience, identifying, dealing and resolving security breaches. I have gained a good knowledge of Security Event Monitoring / ArcSight. I have gained experience of working in a fast paced Service Operations environment. Overseeing incident cases, producing Major Incident Reports, attending Post Impact Reviews and following up actions to identify root cause, resolve issues, reduce customer lost hours and remediate risks.
